She was the daughter of Charles S. Mitchell, b. 1848 and Mary Ellen Maddox Mitchell b. 1854. They married 1876 in Carroll Co., KY.
Other Children were Walter S. Mitchell
(1883-1978) m. Fannie Pulliam and Otto Mitchell (1900-1994).
Mary Ellen Maddox was the daughter of Thomas A. Maddox
(b.1819) and Salome Trout (b.1818), and married 1840 in
Trimble Co.
